Animation created at Roger Studio
For our senior thesis, we decided to team up and create a story of a Korean boy, BakSoo, and his love for watermelons. We wanted to accentuate each other’s strengths and create a piece that would showcase our skills.
There’s a universal belief that swallowing a watermelon seed would result in one growing in our bellies. Through that, became the basis of this story.
After many all-nighters, too much money into Ralph’s microwaveable foods and hard work, became “SooBak”. We hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed creating it.
